Excitingly kickstarting the year with a project that’s been in discussions for probably 10 months.

Based on an image found online by the client we “tweaked” it to fit proportionally perfect on their farmhouse restoration. This curved tie jowel post design is most probably our favorite porch to date.

Adding serious inviting charm to this front door, creating the ideal shelter for the ever growing welly collection.

Manufactured out of 8x8inch oak (jowel posts 12x8 👀 and the curved tie out of 14x8👀!) this porch has an width of 3.2m and depth of over 2m.

It was only natural for us to add the bull nose to the end of the head, why leave it square when you could have another curve!

At Farrow & Dale we like to personalise ever project we undertake and attention to detail is high on our priorities, so turning the spindles on the diamond and adding yet another curve to the rafter feet makes this porch one of a kind.

We’re looking forward to seeing the full renovation completed in the spring and how the porch is settling into its forever home!
